The tomb was designed in the same way as the tomb of King Seti I, to indicate the similarity of Architecture in ancient Egypt, as we find drawings of the pharaonic king offering sacrifices to the Egyptian deities – Ancient Egyptian gods and Goddesses “God Amun“.

The coffin of the pharaoh king was discovered in the burial chamber in good condition and it is made of granite stone “Ancient Egyptian Metallurgy“.

The name “School Cemetery” was given to the tomb of King Horemheb (He has the Tomb of Horemheb – Saqqara and The Speos Of Horemheb in Aswan) because of the inscriptions and drawings in distinctive, high-quality colors that it contains until now..

Inscriptions, texts and graffiti were discovered at the entrance to the tomb, especially by the priests of the Temple of Amun and the High Priest of Amun, King HerihorTwenty-first Egyptian DynastyThird Intermediate Period of Egypt“, indicating that the tomb chambers were used as The Royal Cache of Deir el-Bahri, where Davis found a group of destroyed and shattered skeletons that were used in ancient times..

His achievements:

The first war of Horemheb was the one in which he claimed to have started it by declaring it against the Khita. On the other hand, the Khita people claimed that they were the ones who started it against Egypt. Horemheb claims to have defeated the Khita in this war..

The peace between Hittites and Egypt enabled the Egyptians to continue their wars against the people of Palestine because of their revolt, and they fought the princes loyal to them there, where the people of Khepri (later the Jews) were the most troublesome, but Horemheb was able to suppress their revolts and triumphed over them with a clear victory..

Egypt’s followers in the Asian countries, as well as the people of “Lubia” and “Kush”, were suffering from poor conditions and were subject to Egypt, which prompted “Hor Moheb” to rise up to strengthen Egypt’s influence and restore its prestige and the loyalty of these peoples..

Horemheb succeeded in his mission, as the inscriptions show him returning with spoils from the land of “Nubia” and defeating the rebellious people of “Kush”, then presenting tribute from the north (Asia) and the south (the land of Kush) to the king..

The council bowed before the palace gates in submission to Horemheb, and the heads of the nine bows, the south and the north, offered him salutations as to a god, and everything was carried out by his command.

His presence was feared by the people, he was sought for prosperity and health, and he was welcomed as the father of the lands and the advisor given by God to manage affairs..

Horemheb succeeded in fighting the priests and seizing the position they held, which was “High Priest of all the gods of the two lands.” Horemheb received the position as a reward for his loyalty and sincerity of determination..

During the reign of Horemheb, Egypt began to restore its relations with the country of Bent after achieving security and peace..

In the Karnak Temple, Horemheb created a scene on the wall depicting his reception of the leaders of the country of Bent, where the pharaoh appeared on the right receiving them and negotiating with them while they carried gifts such as gold and ostrich feathers..
