Who is Pashedu?
- Pashedu was a servant in the place of truth west of Thebes.
- Its initial mission was to build stone tombs as part of the construction of royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
- His job was to build the corridors and burial chamber using old flint stone hand axes.
- At the time when Pashedu became responsible for the ornament of the royal tombs.
- Pashedu lived in the village of Deir al-Madina at the time of King Sethi I “Egyptian Pharaohs kings” and his son and successor King Ramses II.
- He is the son of the servant Menna, his mother is called Huwy. His wife’s name is Nejmet Mehit and Pashedu has the same name as his grandfather.
- Pashedu has another tomb in the Thebes Necropolis number TT326 & TT3.

The tomb is located next to the rest house belonging to the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities in the site of Deir al-Madina, Luxor in southern Egypt.

- Tomb number = TT3.
- It is the tomb of the servant Pashedu in a special place in the region west of the city of Thebes during the reign of dynasties 19 and 20.
- The tomb is located 50 meters above the hill.
- The tomb was looted and vandalized throughout the ages by the looters of Pharaonic tombs.
- The inscriptions of the tomb still retain colors and designs of religious rituals as believed by the ancient Egyptians.

The tomb begins with a 30-degree downhill track, then a small antechamber, then a burial chamber with a vaulted ceiling.
When you enter the tomb, you will find a ramp that directs you to the rooms and vestibules as well as pharaonic drawings and inscriptions of God Anubis sitting above his chapel.
Heading towards the burial chamber, we find pharaonic drawings of Pashedu praying next to a palm tree by a lake, in addition as he worships the gods with his relatives and friends, you will find on the wall extracts from the Book of the Dead in addition to the coffin of the mummy next to the wall.
Inscriptions of the tomb of Pashedu:
- You will see the inscription of the jackal Anubis, head of the mummifiers and guardian of the Necropolis painted on the walls of the burial chamber.
- On the ceiling of the burial chamber, you will see the drawings representing the ancient Egyptian deities, with 8 gods on the right and 8 gods on the left, including 40 columns in ancient Egyptian language from the Book of the Dead.
- One of the most beautiful inscriptions in the tomb of Pashedu on the left wall of the burial chamber, where it was drawn in a kneeling and inclined position along the branches of the palm tree at the edge of the pond.
- On the lintel of the door of the burial chamber, you will see an inscription of Pashedu in the position of worship of the God Ptah Sokaris.
- You will also see an inscription of the Son of Pashedu praying to a group of ancient Egyptian gods.
- There is an inscription of Pashedu with his wife and two young children in a position of worship before the God Horus in the form of a falcon.
- You will see another inscription of the priest of the temple of Anubis with Pashedu.
- There is an inscription of Pashedu’s daughter and his wife on the pilgrimage boat to Abydos.
The coffin of Pashedu:
The coffin of the servant Pashedu was discovered in good condition inside a pit covered with blocks of stone to protect it, the design of the coffin dates to the art of the 22nd Pharaonic dynasty.
The coffin was made of wood and has a layer of alabaster powder in the form of a man wearing a wig and over a wreath of flowers, ribbons holding a papyrus plant in his hand.
