● He also ordered the entirety of that place to be filled in without placing anything in it indicating a place where the buried expensive or precious couch would be buried.
● After that, Alexander the Great never returned to Alexandria. Where he died in that expedition, which was the last of his great conquests, and the location of that sofa has remained unknown until now, but it was known at the time as “Kom El-Dikka”.

First, the Roman theatre

● The Roman theater is one of those large and very important monuments in the Roman era, as it had already been erected at the beginning of the fourth century AD.
● It is the only Roman theater in Egypt.
● This building was discovered by pure chance, during the process of removing dirt in order to search for the tomb belonging to Alexander the Great, through the Polish mission that took place in 1960.
● The archaeologists had called it the Roman Theater at the time, when a number of marble steps were discovered, where a great controversy had arisen about the function of that archaeological building.
● Therefore, it took about 30 years to excavate that building.

Second: Villa Birds
