The area is an open museum due to its abundance of monuments.

The governorate also paved the road leading to the archaeological area in preparation for its status as an important tourist attraction.

● It was also surrounded by all those internal rooms in that archaeological temple a portico of about 26 columns, which is a unique design that was relied upon in ancient Egyptian architecture.
● The walls in the area of ​​the Holy of Holies in that temple may also be decorated with a scene of a unique procession belonging to a group of daily deities, each of whom represented almost one day in the Egyptian calendar at that time.

● This large archaeological area also includes the presence of the Temple of Asclepius, built of rock, as it consists of a large courtyard and a facade of stone, and two large rooms carved in that rock. The temple also dates the end of that Ptolemaic era, depending on the decorations.
● Then, the excavations in the area south of the temple revealed the presence of the remains of a church built on that basilica style, which in its design consisted of three longitudinal porticos that were divided by two regular rows between these columns.
● It was dated by starting to break pottery from its vault, which had already been found in Mulla from the fifth and sixth centuries AD.

● In fact, the “Temple of Atribes” is one of the most important monuments in the Nagaa Sheikh Hamad area, which is located in Atribes in particular, west of Sohag, about 7 km in the Naga area.
● It is a group of those archaeological ruins, which actually cover an area of ​​more than 30 acres, and included two temples whose archaeological history dates back to the era of the Ptolemies.
