Mosques in Kafr El Sheikh Al-Khotaba Mosque The history of the construction of the most important historical monuments and shrines of the locality of Abou Ali, Desouk, Kafr Al-Sheikh Egypt, information about the Al-Khotaba Mosque of the Mamluk period and the interior plan of the archaeological mosque. It is located in the town of Abou Ali in the center of Desouk. This mosque dates back to the Mamluk period and was built in the 8th century AH during the reign of Sultan Barquq. The mosque's proximity to the Nile resembles a supervisor, and it seems illuminated at night as if it were a guide lighthouse.
