Construction of the Manasterly Palace
● Al-Manastirly Palace is considered the only one remaining from that large group that was established by the King of the Negev or known as Hassan Fuad Al-Manasterly Pasha, and that was specifically in the year 1851 AD.
● As Hassan Fouad Bey had held a large and very important number of these positions, he was one of them, but the most important of which was his assumption of the first governor of Egypt, and that was during the reign of King Said Pasha.

● He continued to rise in positions until his death, specifically at the end of 1858 AD, and was due to the reason for his naming him “Manasterly”, in reference to his unique old home in the city of Manster in the State of Macedonia.
Design and how to build the Manasterly Palace
● In fact, this palace was built specifically on the ruins of the palace of the great Sultan Najm al-Din Ayyub, and that palace at that time included your sanctuary, your peace and a large number of rooms for servants, including also a large horse stable and a number of gardens.
● But unfortunately, immediately after the end of the July Revolution, a very large number of its original components were demolished, and then there was nothing left of this palace except for the place of interest, which was named after that until now as the “tea kiosk”.
● It consists of a large hall and at the same time a main hall, in addition to a large hall for teaching and practicing music, 3 separate rooms, only one bathroom and 2 terraces.

● It also surrounds the palace called Al-Manasterly from the southwestern side of Naman, a large balcony, but it is all wooden, overlooking directly and very beautifully on the Nile, and that is done through a number of triple logs made of wood material.
● The ceiling was decorated with a number of wonderful plant and geometric motifs, and the facades in that palace were crowned with a wooden flap built or designed in the form of the Egyptian Corniche.
● As for the remaining part of the Grand Palace, which is the salamlik or the harem, it was already demolished.
