Biography 

• The scientist studied Egyptian inscription and painting when he was only 17 years old.
• He worked on special archaeological discoveries in the tombs of the middle princes, and became under the jurisdiction of William Flinder Petrie.
• The world’s fame is due to the discovery of antiquities of Queen Hatshepsut in the cemetery of Deir al-Bahari, and he was able to discover these relics in 1899 AD.
• The Egyptian Supreme Council offered a job to the world, but then resigned from it due to a dispute between the guards of an Egyptian archaeological site and some tourists.

Tutankhamun’s tomb

• Carter got acquainted with Lord Carnarvon, one of the amateurs of antiquities, and was ready to provide Carter’s expeditions with the necessary resources.
• Carter then became responsible for Carnarvon’s excavation business.
• The Lod funded Carter so that he could search for the unknown pharaoh, who was Tutankhamun.
• Carter sat for several months trying to find the unknown pharaoh, but he did not succeed.
• In 1922, after the failure of Lord’s investments, Carter made an attempt to excavate, but with different goals other than searching for the pharaoh.
• November 4, 1922, and after 15 years of searching, Carter was able to find the tomb of Tutankhamun, which is considered one of the best tombs throughout history.
• Carter then sent to the Lord a telegram so that he would come to the place of discovery and the Lord came with his daughter.
• When Carter found the cemetery, he was not aware that it was a cemetery or just a hideout, and the cemetery was not the only thing that Carter found, but he also found a group of buried gold relics.
