Biography of the scientist Victor Loret

● In fact, the father of the French scientist, Clément Loret, was a musician in his country and was at the same time a professional author, but he was originally of Belgian origin.
● His father had also been living in Paris for a long time with his father since 1855.
● He also resided in the State of Egypt many times, and then succeeded in publishing his first book on the Pharaohs in Egypt, and the book was entitled Aux temps des pharaons, and that happened in 1898.

His personal life and archaeological achievements

● The archeologist and theorist studied barley Lorette with Gaston Maspero and gained a great education as a result of his graduate work.
● But after that, in 1897, he had already become, as a result of his knowledge and diligence, the head of the Egyptian Antiquities Authority.
● One of his most important achievements is that in March 1898 he was able to discover the tomb of the Pharaonic King Amenhotep II in the Valley of the Kings, which is the tomb with the name KV35.
● It is also remarkable to mention that the mummy of King Amenhotep II was indeed still present at the time of its discovery in his royal sarcophagus.
● Not only that, but that archaeological tomb as a whole has also proven that it indeed contains the presence of an archaeological cache that includes many of the most important pharaohs who were present in the era of the rule of the modern state, such as King Thutmose IV, along with King Amenhotep III and King Ramesses VI.
● Also, the private stash and the royal mummies were placed in the pharaonic cemetery with the name KV35 in order to succeed in protecting it from theft and looting by the crowds of those thieves on the graves.
● It was protected in the past by the chief priests of the twenty-first dynasty during the reigns of both Amun and Binjem.

Achievements of the world Victor Loret

● In the 1920’s, he had checked the British colony of Southern Rhodesia where he claimed that those earlier checks by fellow scientist Alfred Charles August were indeed accurate.
● The Egyptologist Loret also discovered many tombs during the crescent of his life and work, the most important of which are KV 32, KV 33, KV 36, KV 38, KV 40, KV 41 and KV42.
● However, until now, a large number of scholars in the field of Egyptology still dispute and insist on their claim of discovering the tomb KV 34.
● That tomb they really do believe that the honor of discovering it and of flowers to the boy should not be given to Victor Loret but instead to one of his local overseers.

his death

● The Egyptologist Laurette died in Lyon, France, on February 3 of 1946, and his death was at the age of approximately 86 years.
● He had also donated many of the archives to be with the University of Lyon, but despite that, the majority of his books and sips were the luck of his favorite student, the scientist Alexander Farrell.
