● Al-Raisi was born in a village called Kafr al-Maslah, located in the Menoufia Governorate, and he was the fourth president to take over the rule of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and that was on October 14, 1981.

● In his youth, he obtained a military education inside Egypt, and then he was a graduate student from the Egyptian Air Force College in 1950, and he continued to rise in various ranks and military positions until he reached, after a specific period, the position of Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
● He continued to promote more until he became commander of the Air Force in April of 1972 AD, and after that he led during his rule the Egyptian Air Force in the Egyptian army, and that was during the war period and in the October 1973 war.
● And for his skill at that time, in 1975 specifically, he was chosen by President Muhammad Anwar Sadat at that time to be Vice President of the Republic, but after that, after a period of time, and immediately after the assassination of Sadat in 1981, he had already assumed the presidency of the Republic, and this happened after a popular referendum.
● It also happened that he had renewed his term to rule Egypt through several different referendums in those years 1987, 1993, and 1999.
● Therefore, he considers the reign of Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, in which he slipped until he was later forced to step down on February 11, 2011, as the fourth longest reign ever in the Arab region as a whole.

His birth and upbringing

● He was born in Kafr El-Moselha, Menoufia, and his father is Mr. Mubarak, who was working at that time as a state employee in the Tanta court, and that was in the period that preceded the establishment and construction of the court in Shebeen El-Kom.
● Hence, he had passed away in the exact same year in which the decision was made to refer her to the customary retirement age in 1960.
● As for his mother, she was Mrs. Naima Ahmed Ibrahim, and she passed away in Suk on November 22, 1978, when her son Mubarak was Vice President Sadat.

● After that, specifically on June 5 of the year 1967, Hosni Mubarak was the first commander of the Beni Suef air base.
● And then after that he was appointed director of that Air College in November of 1967 AD.
● However, that period witnessed a difficult period for the country as a whole, which is the period of the war of attrition, when Hosni Mubarak was promoted to the rank of brigadier general on June 22, 1969.
● He had held the position of Chief of Staff for the Egyptian Air Force war and then as First Commander of the Air Force, and that was in April of 1972 AD, and fortunately, in the same year he was appointed deputy and assistant to the Minister of War.
● After that, Hosni Mubarak was able to lead the Egyptian Air Force in a courageous and remarkable manner during the October 1973 war.
● After the end of the war, Major General Muhammad Hosni Mubarak was directly promoted to a higher and more important rank, which is Lieutenant General, and that was specifically in February 1974.
● In the same period of the following year, specifically on April 15, 1975, he was chosen by former President Muhammad Anwar Sadat to be his deputy, and then he continued to occupy that senior position from (1975-1981 AD).

His assumption of the presidency

● On October 14, 1981, President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak assumed the presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt, immediately after the completion of the popular referendum.
● And that was because he was nominated by the People’s Assembly, and this was happening in light of a large popular referendum, so that he came in that he succeeded the former President Muhammad Anwar Sadat, who had been treacherously assassinated on October 6, 1981 AD.
● And then, on January 26, 1982, Hosni Mubarak was elected to become the head of the National Democratic Party.

His unforgettable role in the October 73 war

● We also mentioned that he commanded the Egyptian Air Force, and that happened during the October War period.
