The cost of establishing the zoo at the beginning of the twentieth century, specifically in the year 1900, amounted to 1,600 Egyptian pounds, and Captain Stanley S. Fleur as the zoo’s first director who held this position until 1924.
Likewise, the zoo can be considered an institute in which scientists study the behavior of animals and birds.
