● The remains of many temples where a number of deities were worshiped, such as the goddess Nekhbet, the goddess of Upper Egypt, who took the form of an eagle bird and next to it a sacred lake, and temples to the god Thoth, the god of wisdom for the pharaohs, in addition to the temple of the god Sobek, which was built during the reign of King Amenhotep III.
● The city from the outside has huge walls built of mud bricks that were built during the reign of King Nectanebo II, and the thickness of these walls reaches 11 meters.
● In the Ptolemaic era, King Ptolemy IV ordered the construction of a huge temple there.
● It contains an archaeological rock dating back to the pyramid or clay era, containing many hieroglyphic inscriptions, and it is called the Eagle Rock.
● The city is characterized by a high hill that is climbed by a ladder manufactured by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and its length reaches 7 meters.
● Three paintings containing inscriptions and drawings dating back to the pre-Pharaohs civilization called (Naqada) were discovered. The inscriptions represent the form of writing in ancient Egypt before the advent of hieroglyphic writing.
● The tomb of the high priest in the era of Ramamsas called (Sinao). Who held this position since the reign of Ramses III until the reign of Ramses IX. Inside the tomb, a statue of King Ramses III was found.
● Important artifacts dating back to the Sixth Dynasty were excavated from the city of Cape, such as the golden head of Horus Zero, the copper statues of Kings Bebe I and Meren Re, and the famous painting of Narmer King. However, these statues were transferred to display in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
