De Tombes van de Familie van Muhammad Ali<\/strong> ook wel de”Tombe van de Koninklijke Familie” genoemd die te vinden is in Ca\u00efro, Egypte | De geschiedenis van de bouw van Hawsh al-Pasha, feiten over de belangrijkste islamitische monumenten en heiligdommen in de Tombe van Imam al-Shafi’i, de bezoekuren, de entreeprijzen en nog veel meer.<\/p>\n

De Tombes van de Familie van Muhammad Ali zijn luxueuze graftombes die tijdens zijn bewind werden gebouwd om leden van de koninklijke familie in te begraven, hoewel hij er zelf niet werd begraven en werd bijgezet in zijn beroemde moskee in de Citadel van Salah al-Din. Tot op de dag van vandaag heeft het zijn architecturale pracht behouden en het is duidelijk een mix van islamitische en Turkse architectuur. Het heeft pittoreske gekleurde ramen die het niet minder magisch maken dan de grootsheid van de paleizen die in die tijd werden gebouwd.<\/p>\n

– De Tombes van de familie van Muhammad Ali bevinden zich in de wijk al-Khalifa in Ca\u00efro, om precies te zijn in de wijk Imam Laith, die aansluit op de wijk Imam al-Shafi’i.<\/p>\n

– Gouverneur Muhammad Ali Pasha gaf in 1816 opdracht tot de bouw.<\/p>\n

Beschrijving van de Tombes van Muhammad Ali.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Er zijn in totaal 16 tombes.<\/p>\n

– Deze tombes zijn gebouwd in Turkse en Romeinse bouwstijlen en bij de bouw van sommige tombes zijn zelfs zeldzame stenen gebruikt. Alle tombes zijn gemarkeerd door islamitische decoraties en inscripties.<\/p>\n

– Er werd ook olieverf gebruikt, wat in die tijd de mode was. Watergedragen 24k glitter gouden verf werd gebruikt om op sommige tombes te schrijven. Daarnaast zijn er veel opvallende planten die de tombes versieren.<\/p>\n

– Als we de tombes binnengaan, vinden we een kleine koepel aan de voorkant, gevolgd door een grote hal met twee grote deuren. De hal loopt over in een lange gang versierd met koperen kroonluchters en het plafond is versierd met versieringen van Watergedragen 24k glitter gouden verf en gekleurd glas, waardoor de plaats verschillende lichtvallen heeft.<\/p>\n

– De tombes zijn verdeeld in zes secties, gescheiden door binnenplaatsen versierd met marmer en de muren zijn versierd met islamitische inscripties.<\/p>\n

Wie liggen er begraven in de Tombes van de familie van Muhammad Ali?<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Allereerst is er de tombe van Ibrahim Pasha, de zoon van Muhammad Ali Pasha, die ook heerser van Egypte was. De tombe bestaat uit drie verdiepingen, gebouwd in de vorm van een piramide en gemaakt van Italiaanse albast. Van buiten is de tombe versierd met Arabische figuren in islamitische stijl. De naam van de eigenaar van deze tombe is in het Turks geschreven en erboven is een afbeelding van een rode Turkse fez gemaakt.<\/p>\n

-Verder is er nog de tombe van gouverneur Abbas Hilmi I. Deze bestaat ook uit drie verdiepingen en is op dezelfde manier gedecoreerd als de tombe van Ibrahim Pasha. Er staat een enorme muur omheen, die gemaakt is van koper en versierd is met houtsnijwerk in geometrische vormen.<\/p>\n

-Je kunt ook de graftombe van prinses Nour Hanim, de moeder van Abbas Helmy I bewonderen. Het is meteen ook een van de meest luxueuze en grootste graftombes van de familie Muhammad Ali, met een hoogte van maar liefst 4 meter. Het is gemaakt van albast.<\/p>\n

-Daarnaast ligt de tombe van Elhami Pasja, de broer van koning Abbas Helmy I. Het bestaat uit twee marmeren vloeren en is versierd met Koranverzen.<\/p>\n

-Verder zijn er de graftombes van de vrouwen van koning Abbas Helmy I: prinses Shams en prinses Fathia Hanem.<\/p>\n

– Bekijk ook de tombe van Muhammad Said Pasha, de heerser van Egypte tussen 1854 en 1863.<\/p>\n

– De tombes van de vrouwen van koning Muhammad Saeed Pasja: prinses Malak en prinses Engy.<\/p>\n

– De tombe van de moeder van koning Saeed Pasja, prinses Ain Al-Hayat.<\/p>\n

– De tombe van prins Tusun Pasja, zoon van Muhammad Said Pasja, en het graf van zijn zoon Muhammad Tusun Pasja.<\/p>\n

– Er zijn ook tombes gebouwd voor de vrouwelijke familieleden van de koninklijke familie, zoals voor prinses Zainab Hanim en het graf van prinses Ruqayya Hanim, dochters van Yakan Pasja.<\/p>\n
